We're starting to see automation take hold within the recruitment space, whether that's in managing candidates or assessing them but principally in an effort to reduce CPH. Elsewhere in the world this automation is changing hands for big bucks as testament by Intels recent $15b intention to buy automated car specialist Mobileye. Will we ever see this sort of investment in recruitment? Extremely unlikely.
Intel is paying a premium of 60 times Mobileye's earnings, about four times the premium that Qualcomm is paying to acquire the Netherlands' NXP.
