I know it sounds funny. But the reality of it is that as an employer if you do not create the brand and share it you have no identity for jobseekers to get to know. The more you share the more they can relate (or not) to your values, culture etc and select you as a potential employer. The richer the content you share, video or employee referrals the more the emotional link which is why the idea that job posts are investments in employer branding is a mistake. Most jobseekers will state that the careers website is their first destination to research a potential employer but you still find many careers sites with little nourishment for the people that come looking.
