With oculus turning 1 we're still at a point where VR is a little out of reach at a large scale.
With the introduction of WebVR standards and the development of frameworks such as Mozillas AFrame.io along with the availability of cheap headsets like google cardboard it is only a matter of time before we start seeing more and more virtual experiences.
We're currently working on a VR project and doing lots of 360 video exploration in the office to see exactly what works and what should be avoided.
