Yes so have we - but not many details are available yet. This is what we've heard: Google Hire will be a recruitment tool which allows employers to manage job applications, and employers will be able to place ads for job listings, which jobseekers will then be able to apply for. Google Hire, as far as we know, will require people to use their Google account to sign. This has caused some people to voice caution that it means Google would be able to see a job seeker's entire search history. Whilst it might be technically possible there has been no word from Google that is actually the case and what permission that you'd have to grant for it is another matter.
"[Google Hire] will allow employers to collect candidate applications online," the spokesperson clarified. "Only information that a candidate voluntarily provides would be passed to a prospective employer as part of their online application."
