Many of you wouldn't have been surprised at the top global recruiting trends in LinkedIn's 2018 Report.
A statistic which leaped out for me was that only 18% of respondents reported to fully adopt the use of data.
This gives me lots of comfort; 8 out of every 10 of us are likely to face challenges in how to best analyse huge data sets all in different shapes and sizes from across the organisation; we are pretty good at looking at data; but joining this stuff together is a labour intensive process; our team have just invested in a new analytics platform and the potential is fascinating; here is to me hopefully joining that 20% club of full adoption in 2018.
Data. This new era of talent intelligence is a big step forward as it allows talent leaders to use data to influence future hiring. The top three ways companies noted they are using data is to increase retention (56%), evaluate skills gaps (50%), and build better offers (50%).
