Today's candidates expect an easy frictionless experience when applying for a role. They are impatient, curious and demanding and expect relevant and useful information at the touch of a button.  Recent research shows that candidates want to have a live chat with a recruiter before they apply for a role but what does that mean for the technology used within the recruitment process. The dichotomy between talking to a 'live' person as opposed to a 'Bot' has been debated for a while. Can people really tell the difference between the two?

As a consumer who is a fan of online chat I think I can! There are clearly pros and cons to both with many organisations looking at relevance within the different stages of the recruitment process but ultimately using this kind of tech is about being as visible and accessible to candidates as possible.
