Interesting to scan Linkedin and spot the number of UK jobs being advertised for Candidate Experience Managers (three today).

Whilst CX has arguably always been part of Resourcing & TA teams' remit, we often see a fractured process with few employers analysing every element of the candidate journey and looking to make it faster, more intuitive and friction-free.

It makes sense too. The average time to hire in the UK is 48 days (Workable)  and, as candidate expectations around personalised experience continue to rise, we're hearing from employers about growing numbers of offer rejections and candidate ghosting stories.

So - whether you go the whole hog and employ a CX specialist - of just mystery-shop and enhance every candidate touchpoint regularly, this isn't the last we'll hear about candidate experience.
