Are CV's and covering letters a thing of the past? According to some they are. With a new generation of job seeker entering the job market long winded job applications may become obsolete as social media is seen as being more accessible and an easier way in which to apply. 

Recent research shows that 50% opted for Twitter as their preferred method when applying for a job rather than submitting a CV. In fact Twitter UK themselves launched a new initiative to attract fresh talent to social #OneTweetCV where applications had to be squeezed into one tweet! Could this be the future for the recruitment process?
