I definitely see the benefits of incorporating AI into the recruitment process, particular when recruiters are handling multiple roles and high volumes of applications.  This article highlights the benefits it can bring, not only in terms of process efficiencies but also removing unconscious bias which can only be a good thing.

Having said that, some organisations how gone too far the other way when it comes to automation and have removed the human touch from the recruitment process completely with candidates not getting to speak to or meet anyone until second interview stage.  This means both sides miss out on building rapour and getting a genuine feel for the organisation's culture and the candidate fit.

It's important to review the whole candidate journey and ensure any AI interventions are adding value to your process - not just driving efficiencies but also improving the candidate experience.
